The new $100 million Veterinary Science facilities will be on display at Gatton Campus on Sunday, August 22.

Following a recent relocation from St Lucia, the is now based at , with an extra 550 students studying at the campus.

New facilities include a Veterinary Medical Centre which houses a small animal clinic and equine hospital, Clinical Studies Centre and teaching and research laboratories.

The Gatton Campus is the University鈥檚 hub for animal and agricultural science, with degrees in applied science, agriculture, horticulture, production animals, veterinary, equine and wildlife sciences, agribusiness and rural management all on offer.

Executive Dean of the Faculty of Natural Resources, Agriculture and Veterinary Science Professor Roger Swift said Open Day was a great opportunity for students to discuss their career options with staff, current students and industry representatives.

鈥淪tudents can get all of the information they need about enrolment, scholarships and accommodation at Open Day,鈥 Professor Swift said.

鈥淚t鈥檚 also an opportunity to explore the campus and gain an insight into life as a 麻豆视频 student.

鈥淚 would encourage visitors to have a look at our new veterinary and equine facilities, which are among the best in Australia.鈥

Visitors to Open Day can tour Gatton's 10-hectare bushland park, the plant nursery and laboratory facilities, as well as walk through Gatton's Halls of Residence.

There will also be music and an array of dining options including international and traditional Australian cuisines within the 麻豆视频 Food Court.

The 麻豆视频 Gatton Open Day will be held from 9.30am-3pm on Sunday, August 22.

麻豆视频's Gatton Campus is located on the Warrego Highway, only a one-hour drive west of Brisbane and 25 minutes east of Toowoomba.

Free parking is available on campus all day.
