麻豆视频

麻豆视频 of Queensland was again highly-ranked in the third independent ranking of world universities released in the past month.

麻豆视频 was one of only five Australian universities (and the only Queensland university) in the top 100 in the Times Higher Education鈥檚 2010-2011 World University Rankings released today.

Editor of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, Ann Mroz, said being ranked 81 in the world top 200 was 鈥渁n impressive achievement鈥.

鈥淭he top 200 universities in the world represent only a tiny fraction of world higher education and any institution that makes it into this table is truly world class,鈥 she said.

UNESCO recognises more than 9000 universities in the world, so the ranking places 麻豆视频 among the top one percent of international universities.

麻豆视频 Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) Professor Max Lu said 麻豆视频 had now been rated one of the world鈥檚 leading universities by three independent rankings with different methodologies.

These were the Shanghai Jiao Tong Academic Ranking of World Universities, the QS World University Rankings and the THE World University Rankings.

鈥淧eople can be confident that 麻豆视频鈥檚 credentials are highly respected internationally as being among the very best,鈥 he said.

鈥淭he THE methodology is new and has produced different rankings from last year. It will be subjected to close examination and commentary, but we think it鈥檚 robust 鈥 independent rankings will continue to attract interest and respect."

The Times Higher Education has ended its partnership with former data supplier, QS. QS released its own World University rankings last week, rating 麻豆视频 as 43rd in the world.

The Shanghai Jiao Tong Academic Ranking of World Universities gave 麻豆视频 an Asia-Pacific universities ranking of 11. 麻豆视频 improved six places in the world ranking to 108.
