TransLink will provide additional services to Â鶹ÊÓƵ of Queensland from February 21 in Orientation Week to compensate for the loss of CityCat access.
TransLink has advised the University it will provide 123 extra services on the 192 route, University of Queensland to the City, via Eleanor Schonell Bridge, effective February 21.
The extra services would run from Mollison Street via Montague Road to West End then to Â鶹ÊÓƵ Lakes, with bus frequency increasing to every 15 minutes in peak.
The services will also assist people who might have relied on the West End ferry terminal, which is also out of action.
The new timetable on the TransLink website includes seven extra services between 7-9am Monday to Friday; seven extra services between 4.15-9.15pm Monday to Friday (the previous service ended at 6pm); and 12 new services on weekend and public holidays (previously there were none).
More than 4950 additional weekly seats will be provided for students and staff in West End, whilst the CityCat services are not able to operate. See for more information.
This will provide a service at approximately 10-15 minute intervals in the peak times, a service extending into the evening and a weekend and public holiday service.
Regular timetabling has resumed on other bus routes to Â鶹ÊÓƵ with the start of Orientation Week.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ of Queensland CityCat terminal is among those remaining closed until further notice due to flood damage.
The nearest terminal to the St Lucia campus at is back in operation.
CityCats travelling from Guyatt Park towards Apollo Road will operate approximately every 12 to 13 minutes for most of the day, accessing the terminals back in service.
