The fair will be held on Wednesday, March 31 at the 麻豆视频 Centre at the St Lucia campus from 11am until 3pm.

麻豆视频 Careers Adviser Katrina Schipper said the Careers Fair provided a valuable opportunity for industry, business and government sector employers to promote their programs to 麻豆视频 students.

鈥淪tudents can expect to gain information about employment opportunities that they can apply for, a better understanding of the type of role they would undertake within particular organisations and what a job in their field would entail,鈥 she said.

鈥淚t is a great networking opportunity as employers are set up in stalls throughout the day with one purpose 鈥 to interact with potential employees鈥

鈥淭his means that you will be able to gain first hand information about a company, their graduate recruitment process and even discuss potential opportunities for you individually.鈥

Both public and private industry recruiters will be promoting their graduate programs to students in their final years of study, with some prospective employers also offering vacation work, internships, work experience, scholarships and co-op programs.

鈥淕raduating students can expect to find information about graduate employment programs that can be available for their disciplines,鈥 Ms Schipper said.

鈥淧enultimate year students can enquire about vacation work, co-op programs, scholarships, and work experience with employers, and first-year students have the opportunity to find out what they can do with their particular discipline.鈥
